Music Sunday was on May 5th and is a tradition that began in the early 1970’s by Pastor Paul and Ruth Beckman. Originating as a “Sing-In”, the first Sunday in May event is always a much –anticipated celebration of the music of our church choirs. Each of our four choirs (Children’s Sunday school, Children’s Bells, Touch of Grace Bell Choir, and Chancel Choir) performs a favorite song or two from their repertoire for the year. The congregation gets into the fun by calling out favorite hymns to sing one verse of at designated times during the service.
